40th Anniversary
In March1973, The Golden Fleece was
founded by Michael and Pat Fassum, providing quality outdoor clothing with a
friendly customer service. 40 years later and The Golden Fleece is still
providing that very same service.

Skyfall Barbour
I am sure many of you have seen this summer’s
blockbuster Bond film 'Skyfall'. The more eagle eyed amongst you may have
noticed 007 wearing a very special Barbour wax jacket in the scenes shot in Scotland.
Barbour have announced production of the Barbour 'Lutz' jacket for the Autumn/Winter
2013 collection. The Lutz is based on the coat worn by Bond in Skyfall, all bar
a few zips and pockets, how ever the cut and colour will be the same. We are
expecting it in our stock around September of this year. It's something we are
very excited about here at Golden Fleece, keep an eye on our website for
updates on all new stock arrivals.
New Spring & Summer range 2013
Despite it not feeling it, we are heading
in to Spring & over the past few weeks we have been receiving lots of the
SS13 range from Barbour. These will be appearing on the website in the coming
weeks, they are a wonderful collection of both classic and modern styles and
cuts, made from a lighter weight materiel for the warmer weather, but still
just as tough and well made as you would expect from a Barbour jacket. A great
summer weight men's jacket to take a look at is the Barbour Lowland,(http://www.thegoldenfleece.co.uk/PBSCProduct.asp?ItmID=11931177) with its
stylish cut and traditional colour coming together to make a great looking wax
jacket that's light enough to wear in the summer, and is of course weatherproof
for the odd summer down pour.
In the ladies summer range is the Barbour

much like the Lowland, it is a flyweight wax jacket perfect for the British

Out going Autumn / Winter 2012 range
Although the new spring summer range is on
the way in and our winter jackets are on the way out, we still have many of our
popular winter jackets available in store whilst stocks last. Including the men’s
Barbour Bardon, a quilted jacket with a wonderful polar quilt lining it is
currently low stock in medium black, navy & brown at the great price of

Harris tweed available in store
Harris Tweed is an internationally

branded, polished rose wood hanger. Also we stock a range of Harris Tweed
